Assignment for XII IA 9 Graders Semester 1 2011

Hope that you feel good in this fasting month (Ramadhan). Okey , now let's do some newscast project. you have your group already, right? In a group of ten, please choose your own topic to get the hottest news during Ramadhan, It can be about sports, celebrity, education, economics, education. Here are the steps you should follows :

1. Each group is to choose of different topics.

2. Divide job in your group: you may have anchor/co anchor, cameraman, editor, producer, secretary etc.

3. Record your news cast in a video. the shows takes 10 minutes that include the introduction to the newscast; There may be a weather news, advertisement and the focus of your topic.

4. Write your daily activities in accomplishing the project in a Journal : the format :

• day/date
• activity description
• name of the group members : whether active or not active in the project
• signature of the teacher

5. report your journal to the teacher every week either by email or directly

6. by the time the school starts after Iedil Fitri, you are supposed to present the project lively or by the recording.

7. you will assess your peer by the rubric the teacher gives during presentation.

8. Search the interesting topic, interview them in English, if possible or you may dub with your own voice for the interview.
